Our Mission
Bringing easy access to COVID-19 vaccinations to North Carolina, specifically targeting medically underserved communities.
What are we doing now?
With 62% of North Carolina vaccinated, the state currently ranks 31st in the country for the percentage of people vaccinated. So, what's stopping us? The main reason for this average comes from low vaccination rates in rural areas of North Carolina. In attempts to better this, Project Give it a Shot is currently focusing on outreach in rural counties to get more people vaccinated in those areas.
More about our progress and recent efforts can be found in a recent issue of The Wake Weekly. Click here to read the article.
